Professionally
Mitch has designed and built StarBlocker on his own since late 2025: every screen, every rule, and every line of the four clients and the server. Before that he served as CTO of BlueStreak Education and as an architect and engineer at Aligned Marketplace. At both, the work was architecting and scaling systems that handle personal and protected health information (PII and PHI), the standard StarBlocker is built to. He holds a Computer Science degree from the University of Iowa (2014).
Outside of work
Outside of engineering Mitch can be found writing, playing music, doing yoga, riding his motorcycle, supporting local art and music, and going out with friends in Brooklyn, New York.
